Today Lincoln was knighted. Like with a sword and a ceremony and a medal and "rights and obligations." It was my understanding that they didn't usually do that to eight-year-olds, but when I voiced my concern to Lincoln he quickly pointed out, "No, mom, this is the math table!"
Oh, I get it now. Like 7x8=56. He attained this honor by learning his times tables! (Good job, sweetie!) Lincoln has had a really fun year at school. His teacher has really gone the extra mile to make sure that he has a great time learning. My only question is do I have to call my son Sir?
